EUROPE, AFRICA and the MIDDLE EAST SERVER REQUIREMENTS

ChatNet routing Committee(CRC) has divided the European, Middle Eastern, and African Nations into 13 regions. Each region has a specifically defined set of requirements. As with each regionalization of the ChatNet network, this area has its own hub structure to lower the burden on the trans-Atlantic communication lines. The following list explains what each region represents. If your server is from Asia and is from  a location west of Pakistan, please open the Asia Pacific Page. The list below is the key for the table at the bottom. Find the region where your server is located, and check the table to see what locations and what the ChatNet requirements for linking are.

North Sea:  The UK, Ireland, Iceland, Greenland
Scandinavia: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Euro-Russia (north of St Petersburg)
Western Europe: Portugal, Spain, France, Monaco, Switzerland, Belgium
Central Europe:  Germany, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland
Southern Europe: Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, Albania
Eastern Europe: Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia (South of St. Petersburg)
Black Sea: Bugaria, Greece, Macedonia, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan. Armenia
Middle East: Jordan, Syria, Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait
X-STAN: Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran
Saudi Penninsula: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emerites, Qatar. Bahrain
Eastern Africa: Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda
Western Africa: Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, That Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, Liberia, Cameroon, Equitorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo
Southern Africa: Zaire, Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Madagascar, Swaziland, South Africa

As with any other primary region, ChatNet does not link DSL or cable connections. This stipulation includes corporate versions of these connections. If your server does not meet the designated standards of this page, your application will be rejected stating such. If you apply for a region that is not currently linking servers, your application will be discarded with out reply.
