The Channels section provides in all sorts of information about registering and maintaining channels.

Here you can apply for a registered channel, read about K9, view the current status of channels or see if your request is processed already.

To apply for a registered channel you need to fill out this form. We will ask for 5 email addresses from people who support your channel request. These email addresses will be checked. You might also want to know that "sex-channels" and "warez-channels" will be rejected without any further explanation. We simply do not support those channels on our network with our channelservice.
You will receive email when we have accepted your request. Please allow 3 weeks for requests to be reviewed.

When you want to apply for a registered channel, you might want to check these two pages; the status report shows you if the channel you want to apply for already excists, the request report shows you if there is already an application made for that channel.
Of course you can use both reports for other purposes too, like finding out wich channel gets the most visits, and so on.

The K9 FAQ is handy for any channel operator. It shows you all available K9 commands, their synthax and the userlevel you need to be able to use them. If you have further questions about K9, please join the #doghouse channel on the ChatNet network
