If you are new to IRC you have two ways on here to find out more about it. First there is the introduction wich is a kind of crash course to IRC, second there is the primer with a lot of in-depth information. It's up to you wich one you think will be best suited.

The dare devils amongst us might just want to go straight to our downloadpage to get an IRC client, install it and join us. If you use this method and run into problems or questions, please join either the #new2irc or the #newbies channel on our network. There are people there who are willing to help you.

Last but not least the ChatNet messageboard is here. It's a place where you can leave messages for other ChatNet users. Note: this is not a replacement for IRC, it's suitable for leaving short messages for other persons to read but it's too slow to start chatting with somebody. Also realize that any conversations or messages that you leave on the messageboard are accessible to any visitor of this website until they are deleted, if you somehow regret a posting you made and want to have it deleted a.s.a.p.; please write mail to chat@nutech.com.
