If you are new to IRC you have two ways on here to find out more about it. First there is the introduction which is a kind of crash course to IRC, second there is the primer with a lot of in-depth information. It's up to you which one you think will be best suited.

The dare devils amongst us might just want to go straight to our download page to get an IRC client, install it and join us. If you use this method and run into problems or questions, please join either the #new2irc or the #newbies channel on our network. There are people there who are willing to help you.

Last but not least the ChatNet message board is here. It's a place where you can leave messages for other ChatNet users. Note: this is not a replacement for IRC, it's suitable for leaving short messages for other persons to read but it's too slow to start chatting with somebody. Also realize that any conversations or messages that you leave on the message board are accessible to any visitor of this web site until they are deleted, if you somehow regret a posting you made and want to have it deleted a.s.a.p.; please write mail to chat@chatnet.org.
The Chatnet message board makes use of frames, please make sure that you visit this link with a frame-capable browser. With all this said and done, try the message board and see for yourself..

Please send comments or questions to chat@chatnet.org.
If you discover any broken links please contact webmaster@chatnet.org
This web site is hosted by Nu Tech Software Solutions, Inc.
Forms, reports and the message board are created using SQL2Html.
