Of course you are free to skip the primer and join us right away by following the instructions in this short introduction. Users using America Online may want to look at our AOL connection FAQ. If you have been Nuked or want protection from Nukes or ICMP's look at our Nuke/ICMP help FAQ. Regular users or new channelmasters might want to read about K9 or the Channel Service group. You can do that by visiting the Channel Service web site at http://cservice.chatnet.org. More information about channels is available here. System administrators interested in joining the ChatNet network might want to fill out this form or check the server-list to see if their geographical position is already represented by other servers. ChatNet is one of the younger IRC (Internet Relay Chat) networks. It was founded in March, 1996. Born out of the ashes of an older network, it was setup by experienced administrators. By the end of March, channel services were added to ChatNet. ChatNet has quickly become well-known because of these channel services, represented by K9. Nowadays ChatNet is a mid-sized network with a loyal userbase and friendly hosts. Please send comments or questions to
