Rules

- We have the right to remove K9 from any channel at anytime for any reason.

- Abuse of K9 will not be tolerated and will result in the removal of K9 from the channel.

- Users with more than three registration requests in when the approval committee reviews will have all requests that person has submitted rejected. (we needed to add this as we are getting more and more people putting in ten, eleven, and twelve requests at a time. We can understand two requests for making a mistake on one, or even three requests but more than that wastes our time and yours.)

- Only one channel master (level 500) per channel.

- We do not support "sex-channels" and "warez-channels" with our service (K9). Hence any channel found to be one of the channels mentioned will have K9 removed from it.

- We follow ChatNet's channel naming policy which states:

- Channel names must NOT contain non-ASCII and special ASCII characters, more specifically characters like: Tabs, spaces, Alt-0151, etc...

- Channel names must NOT start with non alpha numeric characters (e.g. #!!!, #@@@, #_____, #!Hio etc..)

- Any channel master wishing to remove their channel from K9's database should send an e-mail to cservice@chatnet.org with their request. Please include the channel name, your nick, and password.

- No channel transfers are allowed anymore. Any channel master who wishes to transfer his/her channel to someone else should send an email to cservice@chatnet.org and ask for the channel to be removed. After the channel is removed then the new one can apply for it.

- Channel Service will only addmask channel masters (level 500) all other addmasks are the responsibility of the channel master and 400+ level channel ops.

- We are here to help with K9 related problems and questions. If you are having problems with other users harassing you or any such other problem you should direct your questions to the IRC Operators in #nuthouse. Thank you.

- We will no longer be doing Channel name changes via e-mail. If you wish to change your channel's name you should send an e-mail to cservice@chatnet.org requesting your channel be removed from K9's database and then after it has been removed use the form to request the new channel.

- We will no longer accept free e-mail address (@hotmail.com, @rocketmail.com, @geocities.com, @usa.net, @thepentagon, etc.) as channel master e-mails. Any requests that has a free e-mail listed for the master will be rejected.

- No more than 3 free e-mail address (@hotmail.com, @rocketmail.com, @geocities.com, @usa.net, @thepentagon, etc.) will be excepted as supporter e-mails. Any requests that has more than 3 free e-mails listed for supporters will be rejected.
