ChatNet Old StuffADMINS065 - New #Nuthouse Guidelines
This Vote Ended 06/20/2000 & It PASSES
Set #nuthouse on +m, +l 60. Each user is to be voiced and greeted upon joining the channel.
After user has been helped to his or her satisfaction, or to the extent possible, the user is
to be unvoiced. A bot in channel will control idle time, allowing 15 minutes of idle time in
channel before a non-oped or voiced user gets kicked. The bot will also msg users who enter
#Nuthouse informing them of the operating policy (rules) of the channel. The bot will be
programmed to not msg operators and cservice members. Nuthouse will only assist with abusive
users, abusive channels, and connection / network problems, but does not assist with in channel
with no ops. All unregistered channels are not to be bothered with. When K9 goes down or is split,
all op requests will be still sent to #doghouse with cservice officials sending op requests
to operators online.
Non-helping Operators and cservice members are to be voiced in the channel. All
inter-operator chatting should be done in private messages or in #chatnet.
