ChatNet |
 |

Chatnet is one of the older networks
on IRC, and is steadily growing. If you would like to learn
more about us, click here. Chatnet
revolves around its users, and its users needs.
We are always trying to better our network, with meetings that involve
our users and our staff, committees that help our users, and we try
to weed out any sort of abuse that takes place on our network.
And we help users with just about any sort of problem that they may
come across.
The website is currently being revised with a fresh new design. If
any links are broken, or something is not quite right, please email
us at webmaster@chatnet.org
and we will respond to your feedback as soon as possible. We,
the Web-Com Team, are here to serve you, the user, in any way that
we can. We welcome you to Chatnet, and to our website. If you
would like to see something new on this website, or just something
interesting on Chatnet, or even just to add your 2 cents, email us
anytime.
If you have a channel, and would like to join the ChatNet Web Ring,
this should be available soon. You can visit the Channel Services
Website at http://cservice.chatnet.org
if you're interested in registering a channel. Another new site
where channel masters, or webmasters of different channels can host
their channel web pages is http://channels.chatnet.org, which should
also be available soon.
While online, there are a number of channels you can join for help. #ChatNet
is the official Administrator and Operator network help channel, where
you can ask network related questions, such as connectivity issues.
#Doghouse is the Channel Services channel, where you can join
for help relating to channel services. #Help is designed
for general questions and all the other general help you might need.
Each of these channels have experienced members to provide assistance.
For general chat channels, you may join #Nuthouse to hang out
with IRCops and Admins, or, after connecting to a chatnet server type,
/list, to get a complete list of Channels to search through. You can
also visit the web committee's offical channel, #Web-Com, and
ask us any questions related to the ChatNet website or to just give
us your thoughts :)
Our Web Chat is fully operational. You can click on the Chat
Now! button in the menu, or
The ChatNet website will soon be multilingual. We will offer
the ChatNet website in English, Turkish, Dutch, Norweigen, Afrikaans
and Spanish. We are also looking for volunteers to translate
the site into additional languages, such as Greek, Chinese, Portuguese,
and French. If you are interested, please email your contact information
and areas of expertise to
webmaster@chatnet.org.
And finally, please, enjoy your stay with Chatnet. Relax, kick back,
make some new friends, and most of all, have fun! =] |
