Classroom Protocol (how to behave in #K9_101) As default #K9_101, the classroom, is moded +m. Which means it is moderated and only users with voice(+ infront of their name) or op status (@ infront of their name) are allowed to speak. Only Cservice Members are allowed to have op status in #K9_101. There will be times during the classes when the channel is moded -m to take questions and comments. During this time you must follow certain protocol:
Someone will be noting the nicks of those with questions and comments, and the order in which the requests was made. When it is your turn you will be prompted by the queue keeper that it is your turn to speak. When you have finished typing your comment or question type "ga" (go ahead) to signal the instructors to begin their response. This ensures that all questions are answered in a orderly fashion. Do not disturb the class unduly, as there is a bouncer present! An example of a disruption is changing your nick to indicate that you need help.
