A CService member is not the same as a IRCop. IRCop's maintain the servers for their administrators. For instance, they make sure the servers are routed correctly, that abusive users are removed from the network and help users with other questions (not related to K9).

A CService member's job is to maintain K9 and help users with K9 related problems and questions. A CService member may or may not be and IRCop.

K9 Help File

This is a list of the members in Cservice. You should never give your password to a person that claims to be a CSerivce member and isn't listed here. You should also always verify by typing:
' /msg K9 access #doghouse nickname '
And if the user is a CService member he/she will have a user access that is 600 or above. If the user doesnt display a 600+ user level you should goto #Nuthouse and report it right away. It is also recommended that you do a /whois on that user.
